  4. * All Style Blocks - loads all 12 style
  5.     blocks from the i30
  6. * Style Block - loads one style block.
  7.     - Use the pch # to select the block to
  8.       load
  9.     - There is no editor for this data
  10.

  12. * IMPORTANT! Many of the i30 SysX dumps
  13.   will only transmit if the "Flter, MIDI" page
  14.   is selected in the Global area. You must
  15.   do this manually, there is no way for
  16.   Midi Quest to automate it.

  18. * IMPORTANT! The i30 features a poor
  19.   SysX implementation. For all dumps
  20.   except individual "Patch" and "Drums"
  21.   transmissions, the i30 must be placed
  22.   in a special receive mode. To enter
  23.   this receive mode, please:
  24.   - Press the Global button
  25.   - Press the MENU button
  26.   - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
  27.   - Press the menu select button in the
  28.     upper right corner of the screen
  29.   - in the menu, choose "Receive Dumped
  30.     Data"
  31.   - start the dump from Midi Quest
  32.  
  33. * IMPORTANT! As a result of the above,
  34.   you can not send a Group as a single
  35.   dump. You must set up and send each
  36.   type of data separately. Again this applies
  37.   go all data types except Patch and Drums.
  38.   For example, if you are editing a Song, 
  39.   make all of the necessary edits, follow the
  40.   above proceedure to place the i30 in
  41.   receive dump mode and then manually
  42.   send the data from Midi Quest. Our
  43.   apologies, there is no way around this!
  44.   (The above applies to multiple i30 entries
  45.   in a DBase as well)

  47. * TURN ON SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE
  48.   The i30 ships with SysX disabled. 
  49.   To turn it on:
  50.   - Press the Global button
  51.   - Press the Menu button
  52.   - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
  53.   - Ensure "Enable Exclusive" is checked
  54.  
  55. * Match the software's Comm Ch to the
  56.   instrument's Global MIDI Channel 
  57.   - Press the Global button
  58.   - Press the Menu button
  59.   - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
  60.   - Verify that the software's CommCh and
  61.     the instrument's Global channel are the
  62.     same
